Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring sugar in the body. It attracts and holds onto moisture in skin cells resulting in hydration to our skin!
Dermal filler is also used to restore/increase volume in areas where we typically lose volume and fat as we age or lose weight. Fillers are also great for smoothing out wrinkles, adding definition/projection or giving a needed lift.
Some areas you can get filler include: lips, cheeks, chin, nasal folds and marionette lines around the mouth.
