FAQ
Here are some frequently asked questions.
Botox isn’t forever (sigh). As for how long it actually lasts, the answer you’re going to hear most often is approximately 3 months, which is the average result seen in patients. It all has to do with the way your body metabolizes Botox once it’s injected.
The best way to prepare for your injections is to avoid blood thinners if medically advised, avoid alcohol consumption for atleast 24 hours prior and after to help prevent bruising, and take arinca tablets for a few days before and after treatment as well as zinc vitamins (this has known to help your toxin last longer)
TRAVEL and INJECTIONSIt is suggested to NOT travel by plane for at least 72 hours after all injections. Altitude pressure is known to cause complications and or discomfort and possible excess swelling with fillers. Talk to your injector if you plan to travel by car or plane near your desired appointment.
WEDDINGS /IMPORTANT EVENTSIf you are getting married, are attending a wedding or have a special event of any kind and are hoping to have any injectable treatment, it is best to do this atleast 4 -6 weeks before the event. This is to ensure any bruises or swelling will have time to heal, and in the case you need a touch up, this will also be settled by the time your event arrives
Botox is a protein made up of Botulinum Toxin, this toxin is derived from soil, plants, animals and different foods.
